Ms. Carolyn Carr, Violin

Carolyn Carr, originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has been studying violin playing for over 13 years. During her pre-college studies, she received training from members of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra. Throughout this time, she performed at a multitude of concerts, recitals, weddings and formal events. Carolyn moved to NYC to further pursue music, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance from Manhattan School of Music in 2024. She has extensive experience in orchestral and chamber ensembles, with a penchant for string quartet repertoire. Carolyn has a passion for sharing the joy of music, and looks forward to inspiring confidence in students!
