Dear Parents and Students,

In light of the current Corona Virus epidemic, the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and prevention) has asked schools and businesses to prepare for the virus to affect the USA directly. I am taking this warning very seriously and have implemented these precautions as my response is directed towards illness prevention:

• I ask students, parents and visitors to wash their hands upon arrival for 20 seconds or more - think of singing the ABC Song as you lather the soap.

• There are hand wipes readily, available for use.

• If you feel like you have a cough or suspect or have a fever, please stay home and get better.

• If you have been traveling to the affected regions, please stay home for 14 days

• All Group Workshop lessons are suspended until further notice

• Private 1:1 lessons will continue to be in session

Furthermore, I have also vastly increased my cleaning and sanitizing efforts in my studio, instruments/pianos, and common areas to maintain a clean and safe environment throughout my studio.

In the meantime, I encourage you to monitor news and resources released by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the CDC. I will be doing the same.
